STAGE ONE: COMPLETE. 🔥
Kodiak is no longer a build concept. It has been tested, pushed, proven, and dialed in to become exactly what we need: a dependable, self-sufficient expedition platform built for the miles ahead.
Several incredible new build partners were instrumental in getting Kodiak where it sits today.
Victory 4x4 outfitted Kodiak with front and rear bumpers, a bombproof spare-tire swing-out, full underbody skids, bed stiffeners, ditch-light brackets, and more. Their equipment gave us the protection and strength needed to take this truck deep into the places it was built to explore.
80% Off Road supplied a set of incredibly stout, full-length rock sliders. Their gear is strong, functional, unique, and ready to protect Kodiak when the terrain gets tight and unforgiving.
North Lighting Concepts, one of our longest-running partners, stepped up once again. When I approached them about completing the new bumper setup, they secured a 13,000-pound synthetic-rope wireless winch capable of recovering Kodiak or helping the entire crew move forward when the trail fights back.
Lensun Solar solved another major piece of the expedition puzzle. With communications, lighting, refrigeration, and other electronics drawing power, keeping the truck’s battery ready is critical. In addition to the panel previously mounted above the iKamper, Lensun added a hood-mounted solar panel and controller wired directly to Kodiak’s main battery.
Now the essential systems can remain powered and ready without constantly starting the engine just to recharge.
Stage One is complete.
Kodiak has been tested. Kodiak has been proven. Kodiak is dialed in.
And this is still only the beginning.
No More Someday.
