Find the HOPE warriors and hang onto them. 💔❤️🩹❤️🔥
Last night I felt a bit like a Swiftie meeting Taylor🤩... Except better because there has been such a depth for me already in connecting with KJ here and there over the most challenging season of my life.
She wrote words of a deep, gritty, and HOLY JOY that I desperately needed after losing my husband by su***de. They meant so much to me that a dear friend helped me put her words over my dining room table.
It was a reminder, a display of what Jesus could still give us at a table with an empty chair-where Andre should have been.
So find the HOPE warriors in your journey and hang onto them. Lean in.
Together, despite all the suffering, we will find what is still possible with a God for whom nothing is impossible.
Hope is a team sport. 🌻
Love you, K.J. Ramsey

Maybe you've wondered, "Can loving another man really be a part of God's redemption after widowhood?"
I believe it can (I've lived it)! Not because any of it is easy or simple. But because God is still in the business of redeeming broken places when we build our lives on Him. And a Christ-centered marriage isn't simply about "finding love again."
Because, as we know (or anticipate): dating after widowhood is different. 🫣
You've already experienced heartbreaking loss, so of course you want things to work out. But chemistry, attention, and shared interests aren't enough to build a lasting marriage.
A relationship without unity in the areas that matter most eventually develops cracks. Marriage doesn't fix a weak foundation—it reveals it.
That's why, as Christian widows, we have to ask deeper questions of whether we are equally yoked, pursuing Jesus together, and are we building on a foundation that can support not only our relationship, but also the family we're creating.
And discernment helps protect your heart as you rebuild.
Read this week's Hope Speaker Blog to explore three practical questions that can help you think a bit deeper:
