Hi all! This is Annie, popping on to update you on the latest:

If you have seen the previous posts about the opening of the Rig, or talked to any of us lately, you know that a new phase is already underway. I couldn’t be more excited! This one, it’s going to be different. Myself, along with the black belts, have opened this new training facility. Soke & John are still affiliated, but I am running the business. It’s been an incredible journey.

When the doors closed for our last setup, it didn’t take us long to find our stride. It brought us right back to our roots. Training outdoors, in garages, wherever provided the space and necessary opportunities for the training to continue. It stripped it down to the art, the people, and we realized that was all we really needed. It let us take the governor off, no longer limited by being a public school.

A band of unstoppables, united by a journey shared, lessons learned together, sweat, laughter, and a little dirt.

This new place will honor that. It’s our headquarters, a launchpad to continue the adventures and hone ourselves together. It’s private, but open to those who want to walk the path less traveled. Who crave challenge, fun, and finding out who they really are. Not just who they were told to be.

Martial arts are a powerful tool. They equip us to live lives with greater freedom, control, and give us the tools to choose what we really want. Rogue Martial Arts is designed for this: “Focused, raw, and unapologetically practical: we return proven warrior skills to modern nonconformists. Our training blends historical techniques with contemporary MMA so students can handle real threats decisively.”

The Rig will be where we hold regular classes, camps, and seminars. But it is more than that. It’s a home-base for Rogue Scholars, for film, art, philosophy, and anything else we want to explore. We've created the perfect schedule for you to get the most out of your training! Now on Tuesdays you can get your fitness fix followed by The Art of Sila Kalari. These two classes are the perfect pair to help you develop all of the attributes you need for The Art of MMA. See you tonight!
