We were honored to be selected to judge the AIKF coloring contest. That was our toughest assignment all day. All the kids did an awesome job and we wanted to pick them all, but in the end we had to choose one in each category. It was one of those really fun and really hard jobs that needed to be done.

Terry Rowley and Sandy Letson are the faces behind Team Co-Motion and are joining us in 2018 from Oregon, United States of America.

Terry began flying kites 4 years ago after he attended a Festival and became instantly hooked, whilst Sandy began flying 3 years ago because of Terry – what a husband and wife team!

Both of them love to fly phoenix pro quad lines kites and will be joining us for the very first time this year – so we look forward to giving them a very warm welcome to Semaphore and the Adelaide International Kite Festival.

Here it is..the Event Program for the 2018 Adelaide International Kite Festival, thanks to Jasmine Rae Graphic Design & Photography for the wonderful design work again.

Kite flying throughout the day from 11am – 5pm with activities subject to weather conditions. Displays and demonstrations to include stunt kites, kite battles, lolly drops and much more!

The following activities are scheduled for the times listed below:

11am Kite flying begins
12pm Official Opening (Saturday)
First Lolly Drop
1pm Easter Bunny visit (Sunday & Monday)
2pm Lolly Drop
3pm Lolly Drop
4pm Final Lolly Drop
4.30pm Parachuting Teddy Bears
5pm Kite flying concludes
