✨ I am officially the new owner of Family Balance Yoga! ✨
Since joining Family Balance Yoga in 2019, I've had the privilege of teaching so many incredible children and families. What started as a passion for helping kids grow through movement, mindfulness, and yoga has now become the opportunity of a lifetime.
I'm honored to continue the beautiful foundation that has been built over the past 12 years while bringing my own heart and vision to the future. My mission remains the same: helping children and families grow into their best selves by nurturing the body, calming the mind, strengthening the spirit, and building meaningful connections through breath and movement.
To my family, friends, students, schools, and everyone who has encouraged me along the way, thank you. Your support has meant more than you know, and I couldn't have reached this milestone without you.
Here's to new beginnings, big dreams, and helping even more children discover confidence, resilience, and joy through yoga. I can't wait to see where this journey leads!

Big News!!!
This season is calling for a massive shift as I prepare to hand off Family Balance Yoga to one of our most loved and most involved teachers, Angel Seminara Shuey. For 12 years now I have nurtured this business while raising our two daughters and working for the school district nearly full time. It's been a labor of love and one I'm very proud of. With all that running a business, raising a family, and teaching school demands, I have been unable to put my whole focus on Family Balance Yoga, as it deserves. The time feels right to pass it on to someone like Angel who can breathe new life into it and nurture it as we've nurtured so many children, families, and adults in our community. With Angel's knowledge of yoga, child development, this organization, and our community I feel confident that Family Balance Yoga can continue to provide opportunities for children to learn to soothe, regulate, stretch, breathe, and be mindful. Angel will continue to offer the same type of programming and structures that you've grown accustomed to, and will likely be able to expand the business’ ability to meet the needs of more clients and students. This change will officially take place on 7/31/26 with Angel becoming the sole owner on 8/1/26.
Please welcome her warmly, as you've done for me over the past twelve years. It's an honor to pass the torch to Angel. The light, the love, and the good in me sees and honors the light, the love, and the good in each of you. Thank you for being a part of Family Balance Yoga, and part of my story.
