Aging does not have to mean slowing down, giving up, or shrinking your world.

In this video, I share a few ideas that changed the way I think about aging, movement, challenge, and personal growth. Through paddling, cycling, hiking, rowing, and outdoor training, I’ve learned that curiosity and movement can remain part of life well beyond 70.

This is not about pretending age doesn’t matter. It’s about refusing to let age define what is still possible.

I've created this video to motivate myself. I hope it may be useful for somebody else too.

Don’t wait for motivation. Just start. Mood follows action.

During recent years I’ve been recording POV footage from most of my outdoor activities — paddling, rowing, biking, hiking, Nordic walking, and endurance races like MR340.

On FitOver67 this footage appears in two forms:

• 10-minute outdoor relaxation videos — short scenic sequences with natural sound and ambient music
• Longer 30–90 minute “outdoor scenery for indoor workouts” videos designed for rowing machines, indoor cycling, steady cardio, and endurance sessions

Recently I created a companion channel: Endurance Scenery Workouts -> link in comment

This new channel focuses entirely on long real-time POV endurance sessions: cycling, paddling, rowing, hiking, and more.

No talking. No hype. Just movement, scenery, rhythm, and steady training.

Pros and cons of open ear bone-conducting headphones for paddle racing

I usually don’t listen to music in my paddling and training. I prefer sounds of nature. However, I tried some music in my recent Missouri River 340 races just for a couple hours and it was really helpful, especially, in the last day of race.

I pulled together my blog posts and race videos into one place - what it really feels like, how I train, and what actually matters out there.

At 70, I’m still learning every year.
