Chasing light across the wild west 🏔️

Rounding out our Adventure Through the Lens First Friday lineup: Brandt Ryder (), a Colorado-based photographer known for high-dimensional images that pull viewers into the story behind the shot.

Brandt's work spans the intermountain west, with a focus on the wild places and dark skies still left to protect. Through his photography, he hopes to inspire others to get outside, conserve and appreciate what's still out there.

Come meet Brandt in person, ask about his approach and pick up a small print or card of his work.

He joins Jonah Lange () and Chris () for an evening of stories, questions and prints.

This Saturday, we’re taking the party out front on Linden Street with a few of our favorites.

🍦 Glacier Ice Cream is rolling up with their truck and serving handmade ice cream + gelato.

🍯 Ministry of Buzz will be pouring mocktail samples made with their artisanal honey mixers.

🍺 And right next door, Hello Brew will be serving beer on the patio with a food truck joining the fun.

Grab a spot for the parade, grab something delicious and hang out with us on Linden.

Forgotten corners of the American West 🌾 

Next up in our Adventure Through the Lens First Friday lineup: Chris (Chris ), a Fort Collins-based film photographer. 

Chris focuses on the overlooked corners of the High Plains and American West — landscapes that lack the obvious grandeur of the mountains but carry their own kind of beauty. His background includes work in wildlife conservation across the grasslands of Eastern Colorado and Western Kansas, and his photography is a continuation of that same instinct: helping people slow down and see these places worth protecting.

Conservation through visual art

We're excited to welcome three Colorado photographers to Tellus for First Friday Art Walk — starting with Jonah Lange (), photographer and storm chaser.

What began as a childhood fear of thunderstorms turned into a lifelong drive to chase them. Jonah captures the raw power of Colorado weather and turns it into visual art — and when storms aren't rolling through, he's in the mountains chasing light instead.

Come meet Jonah in person, ask about the process, and pick up a small print or card of his work.

He'll be joined by two more photographers we'll introduce this week — Chris () and Brandt Ryder () — each with their own take on the natural world and a shared commitment to the wild places worth protecting.
