The misconception of self-defense is that you need to eye gouge, break the fingers, or give a kick or knee to the groin area. Most instructors teach this type of self-defense. But from my experience over the years, I’ve seen that everyone needs to learn how to properly strike, kick and close in the gap to become very effective. If you don’t know how to close the distance by accurately striking and kicking, you will never get effective contact. Our new class on Wednesdays at 6 pm is designed to equip you with the correct skills you need for confident self defense. Learn how to fall and get up accurately, learn how to properly strike with all limbs, and learn how to close that gap so your strike can become more effective and you can stay out of danger.
