Our final FRIDAY NIGHT SPOTLIGHT for Week 0 will see Jackson Denton and Josiah Steen leading the Lumberjack offense against one of the top linebacker duos in the state with Malvern’s Jeremiah Jimerson and Brad Saling.

The Leopard defense has improved much this off-season but they will be going against Denton, who passed for 57TDs last year, and Steen, who amassed 1700 yards receiving last year as well as 27TDs.

The non-conference schedule for the Leopards is brutal this year but they will be looking to build momentum as they will soon face off with the Stuttgart team that handed Warren one of their 4 losses last season.

Monticello will travel to Fordyce Friday night for another of our FRIDAY NIGHT SPOTLIGHT Games of Week 0.

Joseph Accelus and Jaxon Rawls lead an improved offensive attack for a Monticello team looking to get a win after falling to Fordyce 46-18 last season;

While The Redbugs’ duo of Andreal Ellison and Micah Gamble are looking to make a deep run in the playoffs this year after going 13-2 last season.

This Week 0 game will be in Fordyce Friday night and is a chance for both teams to set their seasons on a path of success early on.

The season kicks off proper on Friday night and our first FRIDAY NIGHT SPOTLIGHT Game is Gurdon Vs Magnet Cove.

Linebacker Hayden Smith and the Gurdon Go-Devils will face off with RB Nehemiah Norwood and the Magnet Cove Panthers in a Week 0 matchup.
Both teams earned 7 wins each last year but the Panthers shut-out the Go-Devils 39-0 in their meeting last season.
As Gurdon hopes to avenge that loss from last season, both teams look to grow from first round exits in last seasons playoffs!
