The voices of Wisconsin youth will take center stage this week at the Fond du Lac Family YMCA!

This statewide initiative led by ni****ne prevention coalitions across our state gives the opportunity to our youth to share how va**ng and ni****ne has affected their lives, their families and their communities.

Stop by the Fond du Lac Family YMCA through September 16th to view the banners. During the hours of 4-5pm, our local Commercial To***co Prevention and Treatment coordinator will be there to share coalition information and resources.

NEW! SCHOOL’S OUT FUN DAY AT THE GYMNASTICS CENTER
No school? No problem!

Turn a day off into a morning full of movement, creativity and FUN at the YMCA Gymnastics Center!

Kids can explore the gymnastics equipment, create their own challenges, practice favorite skills, spend time in our arts & crafts area and make new friends.

We’re excited to announce Katie Schingen as our Family & Sports Specialist at the Fond du Lac Family YMCA!

Katie helps oversee youth and adult sports, along with preschool enrichment classes, with a focus on creating meaningful, engaging experiences for families and participants of all ages.

Katie’s Y journey began right here at the Fond du Lac Family YMCA in 2019 as a gymnastics and sports instructor. Since then, she has continued to grow with the Y, serving as a preschool instructor and most recently as a Membership Specialist.

Katie earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. Outside of the Y, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeremy, and their four children, who have all been part of YMCA programs over the years and continue to stay involved today!

We’re excited to have Katie bring her experience, energy and longtime connection to the Y into this role. Please join us in congratulating Katie!

Construction Progress Update! 🚧

Exciting progress continues on our facility expansion!

Take a look at the latest photos showing the vertical expansion of our Wellness Center, which will add approximately 2,500 square feet of additional space for fitness equipment and help us create a more spacious, expanded Wellness Center experience for our members.

We’re also sharing an updated look at the progress on our new indoor walking track as it continues to take shape!

There is still work ahead, but it’s exciting to see these new spaces becoming a reality. Thank you to our members for your continued patience and flexibility throughout construction. We can’t wait for you to enjoy everything that’s coming!

More space. More opportunities to move. More ways to connect and strengthen our community.
