i’m going to miss the friendships i’ve made at the studio and the late night rehearsals full of life lessons and laughter

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO YOUNGER LDP DANCERS?
my advice to the younger dancers is to remember that everyone is on their own journey and you are right where you need to be as long as you are trying your best each day

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT LDP?
I’ve been dancing at LDP for the past 8 years.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE LDP MEMORY?
My favorite memory at LDP is my team surprising me with a birthday party during one of our hiphop classes. Shout out to Mr. Derek for playing the best songs!!! I will also miss our hype circle my team would do before any crew show.

WHERE ARE YOU HEADING NEXT YEAR?
I’ll be headed to Chico state in the fall where I’ll be studying kinesiology. I hope to become a physical therapist like my mom.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO MISS THE MOST ABOUT LDP?
I’m going to miss my team the most as they have truly become a family to me. We have made so many unforgettable memories I will hold on to forever and I hope them all the best in this next season to come. I’ll miss all my teachers as well, their guidance and loving support will always be with me wherever I go.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO YOUNGER LDP DANCERS?
Always dance from the heart and know you belong in every class you attend! Push yourself in all the classes you take, even the tech ones, you will go so far for the amount of dedication you put towards yourself.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT LDP?
I have been at LDP for six years.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE LDP MEMORY?
My favorite memory at LDP was performing in the company concert my senior year. It was such a special and fulfilling moment to be able to dance on that stage one last time after so many years of performing.

WHERE ARE YOU HEADING NEXT YEAR?
I will be attending San Diego State in the fall as a psychology major. Go Aztecs!! ❤️🖤

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO MISS THE MOST ABOUT LDP?
What I’m going to miss most about LDP is the community it has brought into my life. I have made friendships that will last a lifetime and have met mentors that have allowed me to grow in so many ways.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO YOUNGER LDP DANCERS?
My advice to younger dancers is to stop looking for external validation. Once you start having self confidence and believing in your abilities your passion and joy for dance grows so much stronger!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT LDP?
I have only been at LDP for two years but they have been the best of my life. I will forever be grateful for my LDP family🫶

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE LDP MEMORY?
My favorite memory at LDP is being with my teammates and teachers after the curtain closed at my last crew show. The love and support they give is so inspiring.

WHERE ARE YOU HEADING NEXT YEAR?
I am headed to UC Riverside to study biology with the goal of going to medical school.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO MISS THE MOST ABOUT LDP?
I am going to miss my friends and getting to learn and love dance with them. I am also going to going to miss the wonderful teachers that are the best a dancer could ask for.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO YOUNGER LDP DANCERS?
To my younger dancers, give yourself grace and know that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT LDP?
I have been at LDP for 8 years!

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE LDP MEMORY?
My favorite memory at LDP was getting to do taking flight and choreographing my own dance!

WHERE ARE YOU HEADING NEXT YEAR?
In the fall I will be attending Duquesne University’s nursing program in the hopes to be a pediatric oncology nurse!

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO MISS THE MOST ABOUT LDP?
I’m going to miss all the friends and the community at LDP. I’ve had the privilege to dance with all my best friends these past years and I’m going to miss everyone so much!

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO YOUNGER LDP DANCERS?
Never give up, and always try your best. Time goes by fast so soak in every moment!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT LDP?
I have been dancing at LDP for 13 years, since season 1!

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE LDP MEMORY?
I have so many amazing memories at ldp, but one that stands out to me is the new york trip. It was amazing getting to see another side of the dance world while still dancing with my team.

WHERE ARE YOU HEADING NEXT YEAR?
In the fall I will be attending CSULB and majoring in child development and family studies.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO MISS THE MOST ABOUT LDP?
I’m going to miss most about LDP is the shows. The backstage moments, the months of preparation, the feeling of connection while dancing onstage.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO YOUNGER LDP DANCERS?
My advice to younger dancers is be where your feet are. It goes by so fast, embrace every moment. The long rehearsals, when you feel discouraged, when you feel like at the top of your game. The outcome feels so much more rewarding knowing you gave your best.

I’ve been at LDP for 7 years, since Season 7.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE LDP MEMORY?
Some of my favorite moments have been going to conventions over the years with my friends!

WHERE ARE YOU HEADING NEXT YEAR?
Next year, I’ll be attending UC Santa Barbara as an Environmental Studies major. I’m excited to start this new chapter and learn how to surf!

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO MISS THE MOST ABOUT LDP?
I’m going to miss taking convention/master classes, my teachers, and all my best friends!

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO YOUNGER LDP DANCERS?
My advice for younger dancers is you have so much time to grow, so don’t put too much pressure on yourself. Just keep working hard and enjoy every moment whether it’s in the studio or on stage!
