It is also considered the second harvest, a time when grain, fruits, and nuts are gathered and we give thanks as we prepare to rest, and renew for the coming winter months..when it slows down and the world gets a little quieter.

The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down of the big guy they call Sasq'ets (Sasquatch). He's a shadow at dusk, he's a shape in the snow, he's a whisper that rides on the breeze. The hunters have told of a giant so tall, with a coat black as midnight rain, leaving only a footprint to get. Some say he is gentle and some say he is wild...Now the legend lives on from the Chippewa on down,through the valley, the forest and creeks, and whenever the moon is high in the forest at night, folks still wonder what walks where it peaks.

Russian president Vladimir Putin claims to have spotted three Yetis while flying in a helicopter over a remote area of Siberia in 2016. The creatures were said to have been covered in thick gray hair and taking long strides according to national park wildlife expert Dmitry Ivanov, who accompanied Putin. Belief in the Yeti is common in Russia.

The Native American people have lived with the knowledge of Sasquatch throughout their history. As a people they have an attitude of, leave them alone, and they will leave you alone. There seems to be a great respect for these gentle giants among all the Native American tribes.

The first person to publicly declare that Sasquatch were interdimentional travelers was Fred Beck. He and his prospecting partners had their Sasquatch encounter in the Mt St. Helens and Lewis River area, Washington St in 1924. They claim several Sasquatch attacked their cabin and threw huge rocks down on the roof.Fred firmly attested that the creatures are "not entirely of the world and that we are dealing with supernatural beings."

If bigfoot do indeed live in a huge range of forested mountains, they are obviously not sitting around waiting to be discovered. The evidence suggests they are constantly on the move, and do not want to be found. This really should not be too difficult in a range as vast as their habitat suggests.-Peter Byrne (The search for Bigfoot).
