Meadow Green Dividend

Newest addition to the BVF herd is a gorgeous heifer calf out of a 100” momma cow and Meadows Green Dividend. Can’t wait to see how this girl turns out over the next year.

Well this week brings two more MGD calves to the world, # 6 & 7 for Borrowed Valley Farms. Looks like the count is 5 bull calves to 3 heifers with 10 more cows to calve.

Calves # 4 & 5 have a lot of splash. And MGD’s newest one today is a spitting image of him! Can’t wait until he brindles. Don’t know the s*x of the other one yet as it’s fresh out of the oven so we left mom alone. MGD sure puts his mark and coloring on his calves.

Well Calf #3 of 16 is a beautiful little heifer. Got alittle more splash of white than her brother but pretty close to looking like twins. MGD sure puts his mark on his calves.

Well Calf #2 of the Borrowed Valley Farms, MGD lease is a big beautiful bull calf. Let’s hope with the coloring of the sire and dam and the horns on both he will have lots to live up to and we will see in 6-9 months if he gets to stay a bull or become a big pasture steer.

Meadows Green has a beautiful new flashy heifer that hit the ground today. Can’t wait to see what the other 15 cows have in the next 30-60 days.

Meadow Green Dividend has been purchased by 4 Brands Partnership. The 4 partners that make up this Partnership are:

Brian Gasperson with Gasperson Cattle Co,

Derek Schmidlkofer with Wolf Ridge Cattle Co,

Lance Irick with Windy Hill Longhorns,

Paul Sanders with Borrowed Valley Farms (BVF)

With this new Partnership MGD will have almost 200 ladies to have chosen for him to selectively breed to based on the best pairings. We can’t wait to see the offspring that MGD is going to have hit the ground this Fall between BVF’s cows and then at Gasperson Cattle Co.

We want to thank MK Haus Longhorns for raising a great bull and willing offer him up.
