🌟 Client Spotlight: Meet Crystal Pullen 🌟
For years, Crystal found herself in a cycle many people know all too well. She lost the same 50 pounds, and regained it, six different times. Restrictive dieting took its toll, including significant muscle loss, while previous workouts at a traditional gym resulted in knee injuries that required surgery.
In 2001, Crystal decided this time would be different. She lost 51 pounds and began what she now proudly calls her 25th anniversary of wellness.
Strength training became an important part of making that wellness journey last.
For the past five years, Crystal has trained with us at MaxStrength Fitness, where 20-minute, trainer-supervised sessions twice a week give her an efficient, highly focused way to continue building and maintaining strength.
“The workouts are not easy, you have to lean into them,” says Crystal. “I feel my trainer Cassie is with me every step of the way.”
Now 69, Crystal's motivation goes far beyond the number on the scale. She wants to remain strong, capable, and actively involved in the lives of her daughter and two grandchildren.
“I plan to remain an active and engaging part of my grandchildren’s and daughter’s lives. I don’t want to spend the last years of my life sitting around and saying goodbye to my independence.”
Crystal's story is a reminder that strength isn't simply about how you look. It's about maintaining the ability to keep showing up for the people and experiences that matter most. 💪
