🏒💙🧡 WHAT A WEEKEND FOR THE 2017 JR. FIREBIRDS! 🧡💙🏒

The LCAHL Kickoff Classic has officially come to an end, and while we didn’t get the ending we were hoping for, we could not be more proud of this group of boys! 🔥

Three days of hockey. Early mornings. Long days at the rink. Grit, determination, teamwork, and a whole lot of heart. These boys battled their way through a field of 20 teams and earned their spot in the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME! 🏆

They entered bracket play as the #4 seed, fought their way into the championship, and left absolutely everything they had on the ice.

The championship was a hard-fought battle from beginning to end. The boys kept fighting until the final buzzer, but this time we came up short.

And while that one stings, it certainly doesn’t take away from what these boys accomplished this weekend. 💙🧡

They battled for each other. They picked each other up. They showed grit when they were tired. They kept competing when things got tough. And most importantly, they played as a TEAM.

🔥 20 teams.
🔥 #4 seed.
🔥 Championship game.
🔥 One incredible start to our inaugural season.

A huge THANK YOU to our coaches for the countless hours, patience, encouragement, and commitment you pour into these boys. The work you put in goes far beyond what happens during a game, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything you do to help this team grow both on and off the ice. 🏒❤️

And to our Jr. Firebirds families — THANK YOU! 💙🧡 Thank you for the early mornings, late nights, long drives, cheering until you’re hoarse, hauling gear, keeping everyone fed, and spending your entire weekend at the rink and arcade. 😂 None of this happens without the amazing families behind these boys!

It truly takes a team behind the team, and we’re so lucky to have ours. ❤️

So incredibly proud of these boys, our coaches, and our entire Firebirds family. This was only tournament #1, and if this weekend is any indication of what’s ahead, we have a lot to look forward to!

Keep those heads high, Birds. You earned the right to be proud of this weekend.

The season is just getting started — and there’s a whole lot more hockey to play. 💪🔥

These boys came back tonight ready to BATTLE — and battle they did!

After a long day of hockey, they dug deep, kept fighting, and SWEPT all three games tonight, earning themselves the #4 SEED out of 20 TEAMS heading into tomorrow’s bracket play! 💪💙🧡

Couldn’t be prouder of the grit, determination, and teamwork these boys showed today. They just kept pushing!

The Birds kicked things off Friday night with a 6–1 WIN and came back today ready to battle! In our first three mini games, they skated away with:

A full weekend of hockey. New challenges. New memories. And the beginning of something special for this group.

Our Fall season kicks off TODAY! We are excited to be back skating on fresh ice at our home rink! We are looking forward to seeing everyone tonight!

Nothing against other sports… but hockey just hits different. 🏒❤️

There’s something about the cold rink, the early mornings, the loud parents, the endless practices, and watching your kid do what they love.

Once hockey has your heart, it’s pretty hard to let go. ❤️
