Three streams of practice meet in an immersive evening of movement, music, and deep rest.
Join Thr33 Shelton and musician Rivers Whittle for a three-week series weaving the grounding practice of Kaiut Yoga with the live music of the kora, a West African stringed instrument with a musical tradition carried across generations for centuries.
Rivers is a devoted student of music and nature whose primary instrument is the kora, which he studied while living and learning with traditional Griot families in West Africa. His music invites us to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and deepen our relationship with the world around us.
Each evening begins with an hour of Kaiut Yoga guided by Thr33 and accompanied live by Rivers on kora. Through slow, intentional work with the joints, the practice offers an opportunity to explore mobility, sensation, and stillness while settling more deeply into the body.
From movement, we transition into rest.
As the body settles into śavāsana, Rivers will guide an extended sound journey with gongs, singing bowls, and other instruments—an invitation to receive the resonance of sound without needing to do anything at all.
No previous experience with Kaiut Yoga is necessary. Come for one evening or join us for all three and experience how these practices deepen and unfold together over time.
