I've been avoiding this post for the past 2 weeks but I can't anymore. Sadly after 4 years we are closing down SC Powerhouse. Since 2018 I've been either coaching football or training kids, teens, and adults in the gym. Ive poured an immence amount of time learning and training and designing programming to bring the best i could to my business. Our whole family put time in traveling all over for equipment, building the facility, staying late and coming in early to be there for our clients. We've tried everything to bring adults into our facility since moving downtown over a year ago. Sadly we just can't reach that demographic enough to sustain our business. This has been a passion of mine for a long time and im very sad to see it end. As of now we will be open until July 31st. We will begin the moving process in August. So if you've ever been a part of SC Powerhouse even back when we were in my little garage, I'd love to see all my members stop in and say hi and get a lift in with us one more time.
I'd like to thank God for giving me a chance to do something other than drive a truck it was worth everything to me.
I'd like to thank my Wife for everything she's done to help me get the doors open and keep them open as long as we could. The late evenings helping me and just everything.
I'd like to thank my brother for helping me with programming and bringing all his training knowledge and brotherly love to the table to guide me when I struggled.
I'd like to thank the members past and present who supported and support me and this business.
I'd like to also thank the late Wayne Berding who pushed me all those years ago to try and coach. It changed my life! You are truly truly missed!
Hopefully this isn't the end for us and it definitely wasn't what I planned for. But we will take a step back and see what happens next. Maybe you'll see SC Powerhouse again soon.
Appreciate everything from everyone who supported us in whatever way you could have. Ill always be there for all my kids I've coached if you ever need anything!
Thank You,
Coach Burba.
