Indiana's premier waterfront race features 4 race distances: the iconic half marathon, 10K, and family-friendly 5K and 1 Mile Race! St.Vincent Geist Half Marathon is excited to have the opportunity to work with area schools again this year to promote this fun and healthy event to children. The St.Vincent Geist Half Marathon school program, and the far reaching benefits it brought to the over 1,500 youth who participated, is an aspect of last year’s event that we are most proud of. We are working to expand upon this success so as to continue to support the Foundations efforts to combat the growing problem of childhood obesity.

Some of this year’s Geist Race Series pacers are ready to keep the miles fun, encouraging and upbeat. Jill Ramsey is bringing “steady splits + party vibes,” while Gretchen Hercamp is pacing with “spectator energy” all the way to the finish.

Race day hydration is getting a little more spirited this year! 💧

The Geist Race Series is launching the Water Stop Showdown, a friendly competition encouraging water station groups to bring out their best hype crew, enthusiasm and team spirit to the course>

Participants will vote for their favorite water station after the race based on energy, creativity and overall spirit. The winning group gets suite access to Indy Fuel game against the Kalamazoo Wings at the Fishers Event Center.

Runners, keep an eye out for themed stations, fun signs, music, costumes and plenty of encouragement along the route! 🥳 🎉

The Geist Half Marathon course will once again feature the Gold Star Mile at Mile 10, hosted by the Fishers Armed Forces Commission. 🇺🇸

This special stretch of the course honors the service and sacrifice of fallen military members and their families. Gold Star bibs will be available at Packet Pickup on Friday, September 11.
