Head up to the club to enjoy some apps, reconnect with your fellow curlers, and throw some stones. Board members will be available to answer any questions, and the bar will be open.

What an incredible weekend at the USWCA Fall Meeting, hosted at the Detroit Curling Club! 🥌🇺🇸

Today, we welcomed the USWCA Board of Directors to present and discuss committee reports and celebrate women’s curling.

The USWCA was honored to recognize Cory Thiesse, the first American woman to win an Olympic curling medal, and to send off the 2026 Scot Tour ladies as they embark on their curling adventure! 🥌🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A huge thank-you to all of the USWCA chairs and representatives who made the trip. To USWCA President Bethany Rivera and her committee, Suzanne York, Secretary, Laura Call, Meeting Coordinator, and the countless others for their time, dedication, and hospitality this weekend.

🥂 A Night to Celebrate Women’s Curling! 🥌

What a wonderful evening at the USWCA
Presidents Banquet at 526 Piano Bar in Royal Oak!

The Detroit Curling Club and USWCA President Bethany Rivera were thrilled to host this special evening and welcome fellow curling leaders from across the country to Detroit.

It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the history and accomplishments of women’s curling while enjoying great food, music, laughter, and even better company. ❤️

We’re proud to be part of a community of strong, passionate women who continue to grow, lead, and support the sport we love.

Here’s to friendship, leadership, and the bright future of women’s curling! 🥌✨

Congratulations to our own Emily Obert and our friend from TCC, Jeff Snover, on making the 2026–2027 USA Wheelchair Curling National Team! 🇺🇸🥌

We’re incredibly proud to see these two talented curlers represent the USA at the national level. Their dedication to the sport and commitment to growing adaptive curling are truly inspiring.

Way to go, Emily and Jeff! We’ll be cheering you on all the way!

Following a three-day selection camp at Rock Creek Curling in Lafayette, CO, USA Curling has chosen the athletes who will be a part of the 2026–27 USA Wheelchair Curling National Team.
