For a long time, life felt like something I would get back to when I felt better.

But when “better” keeps moving further away, waiting can quietly become its own kind of loss.

So I’m learning to ask a different question:
What kind of life can I have inside the body I have today?

It may be smaller.
Slower.
Different.
But different doesn’t mean there can’t still be moments worth living.

Yes!

Somewhere along the way, “advanced” became synonymous with:

More springs.
More choreography.
More circus tricks.
More ways to nearly launch yourself into another zip code.

But harder doesn’t automatically mean better.

Sometimes the most advanced thing you can do is take a basic exercise and actually control the hell out of it.

No momentum.
No shortcuts.
No performing for Instagram.

Just precision, control, connection, and understanding WHY you’re doing what you’re doing.

You don’t need to turn Pilates into Cirque du Soleil to make it effective.

The method is already hard.

Do it well.
