Big congrats to Braden on passing his 3rd stripe test in BJJ! 🥋
Braden’s progress is a great example of what happens when you keep showing up, stay committed, and put in quality rounds day after day. His consistency on the mats continues to pay off, and earning that third stripe is another well-deserved milestone.

We’re also really glad to have him back on the mats with us. He brings a great attitude to training, is always a solid partner, and makes the room better just by being there.

Congrats, Braden! Keep working, keep growing, and keep stacking those stripes.

Big congratulations to Adrien Acosta on earning his second stripe in BJJ! 🥋👏

This one is well deserved. Adrien continues to show what consistency looks like—showing up, putting in the work, staying focused, and getting better every time he steps on the mats.

Just as important, he’s always a great training partner: respectful, dependable, and someone who helps make everyone around him better.

Congrats, Adrien! Keep showing up, keep putting in the work, and keep leveling up. Two stripes down—many more to come! 💪🔥

Plateaus aren’t proof you’ve stopped improving—they’re proof you’ve reached a new level.

In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, growth isn’t always obvious. Sometimes your progress is happening in the details: better timing, calmer reactions, smarter decisions, and fewer mistakes.

Keep showing up. Stay curious. Trust the process. The breakthrough you’re chasing is often hiding inside the reps you’re tempted to skip.

🥋 What’s helped you break through a plateau?

The mental side of Jiu Jitsu deserves just as much attention as the physical side. 🧠🥋

Burnout is something many athletes experience, but few people talk about. Whether you’re a competitor, hobbyist, or just beginning your journey, learning to recognize burnout—and knowing how to prevent it—can help you stay healthy, motivated, and on the mats for years to come.

This is the first installment of an ongoing series where we’ll explore the mental game of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu:
✔️ Recognizing burnout
✔️ Early warning signs
✔️ Recovery strategies
✔️ Building healthy training habits
✔️ Mental resilience
…and much more.

Our goal is simple: help you become a better martial artist by taking care of both your body and your mind.

Save this post so you can come back to it later, and follow along as we continue the series over the coming weeks.

💬 Have you ever dealt with burnout in BJJ? What helped you get through it? Share your experience in the comments—we’d love to hear from you.
