Eli's last day at Resolute📸

Eli Nester finished his time as a high school athlete at Resolute this past week.

Eli will attend the Oral Roberts University this year. He will play baseball for the Golden Eagles. We are so grateful for who he is and all he has accomplished in his time with us.

A Bible verse that comes to mind when we think of Eli is John 16:33 "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Eli has experienced seasons of doubt and uncertainty throughout his time at Resolute. In those seasons, he has clung to the truth that no one's story is over until it's over. The journey continues until Christ calls you home. In the good, or the bad, Christ is still the same.

We love you, Eli, and we look forward to watching your journey and seeing you again!

Maddox's last day at Resolute📸

Maddox Welborn finished his time as a high school athlete as a Resolute athlete this past week.

Maddox will attend the University of Pennsylvania this year. He will play football for the Quakers. We are so grateful for who he is and all he has accomplished in his time with us.

A Bible verse that comes to mind when we think of Maddox is James 3:13 "Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom."

Maddox has grown in many ways throughout high school. However, his maturity and intentionality stand out above the rest.

Maddox is very thoughtful in his actions, efforts, and friendships. He may not be the loudest person in the room, but he always makes sure people know that he is there to support them. Tough and gentle. Strong and tender. Fierce and meek.
