WHAT'S UP WEDNESDAY! πͺ
π MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: WHITNEY SULLIVAN π
This week's Member Spotlight is someone who's been part of SPT in more ways than one - Whitney Sullivan!
Whitney is Coach Kyle's wife, partial owner of Sullivan Personal Training, AND a faithful long-term member who has consistently made strength training and her health a priority for years.
But her most recent progress tells an important story.
About a year ago, Kyle began encouraging Whitney to consistently challenge herself with HEAVIER weights. She had already been showing up and training faithfully - but increasing the intensity of her strength training turned out to be a game changer! πͺ
In just the past 11 months, Whitney has:
π₯ Lost 11.7 lbs of BODY FAT
π Reduced her body fat percentage by 5.1 points
πͺ Gained 6.1 LBS OF MUSCLE!
11.7 lbs of fat LOST while simultaneously adding 6.1 lbs of muscle! That's some serious body recomposition! π₯π
And for Whitney, the difference goes well beyond what an InBody scan says.
When we asked her about her progress, she said:
"Although I have been a 'member' for years now, Kyle started pushing me to lift heavier consistently about a year ago and I have definitely seen the changes! I feel better, my clothes fit better, and I consistently hit goals I started to think I never would, once I followed Kyle's guidance more intently!"
We especially wanted to share Whitney's story because she's proof that simply being consistent doesn't mean there isn't another level of progress waiting for you.
She was already a long-term, dedicated member. She was already exercising. She was already showing up.
The difference was learning to progressively challenge her body with heavier resistance - and then doing it consistently.
For women especially, getting stronger and building muscle can make a tremendous difference in body composition, confidence, function, and how you feel. Don't be afraid to lift heavier! πͺ
Whitney, we're proud of the work you've put in - both behind the scenes helping make SPT what it is AND every time you step onto the training floor and put in the work yourself. β€οΈ
Help us congratulate Whitney on an incredible 11 months of getting STRONGER, LEANER, and proving that there's always another goal worth chasing! ππ₯
