Player Spotlight: Madilyn's summer has been busy and successful! At the Minnesota State Fair she was 4-H Grand Champion for the Brown Swiss cows. Madilyn has also been working on the family farm and at a specialty beverage business. Besides the MN State Fair, she showed her animals at local fairs and went on vacation with her grandparents. With our next season just around the corner, controlling stones with strong sweep skills and dropping rocks on dimes are both in Madilyn's future 🥌

A few teammates from Team Rokke helped install sod on a project in Fargo today to earn extra funds for the upcoming season. Everyone did great and remembered the most important rule...Green Side Goes Up! Not one mishap. We had a great time curling in our year end FMCC Youth League Bonspiel. Up 10-0 in our last game vs our skips 12yr old brother Lincoln, he pulls this hammer shot off and then conceded. Bravo Lincoln, Killian, Roscoe and Anthony. Great shot! Notice Lincoln let go of the stone sideways because he said "Well I had to let go before the hogline."
Youth League is where it started for all of us and continuing to be a part of it is fun and brings us together weekly which is invaluable. We hope we can continue participating in youth league and/or eventually be able to help out from the other side by helping the next generation of curlers with instruction🥌

A few of us curled with our Coach Rachel this weekend at the Grafton Curling Club in their Cosmic Curling Bonspiel... and we won! It was a ton of fun🥌

Our U21 Qualifier in Blaine ended with a loss in the semifinals. Thank you Four Seasons Curling Center for the hospitality and the ice makers for the great ice. 🥌
