🐴 IN SEARCH OF — SPECIAL HORSE NEEDED 🐴
Arrow C Performance Horses is officially IN SEARCH OF a very special kind of horse. ❤️
We are looking for a kids’ lesson / therapy-type horse to potentially become part of our program.
We are looking for a horse that is:
✨ Calm, quiet & forgiving
✨ Safe and dependable around kids
✨ Patient with beginners
✨ Comfortable being groomed, handled and loved on
✨ Good-minded and willing
✨ Not easily rattled by new situations
✨ Happy to take things slow
✨ Safe both on the ground and under saddle
✨ A horse that can help teach a child confidence, patience and horsemanship
We are not looking for a fancy mover or a show horse. We are looking for a horse with the right mind and heart for the job.
The kind of horse that will stand there while a nervous little rider learns to brush them.
The kind that will take a deep breath when a child needs an extra minute.
The kind that can make a kid fall in love with horses while teaching them how to respect and care for one.
Those horses are special — and we know finding the right one may take time.
📍 Located in Minnesota
💰 Budget: x,###
🐴 Open to different breeds, ages and sizes for the right horse.
If you have one that you genuinely believe could be a good fit, please PM us with videos, photos, age, breed, location, price and as much history as possible.
We’re looking for the right horse, not just a horse. ❤️
Please share — the perfect kid-safe partner may be sitting in someone’s pasture right now.

Sometimes I stop and think about how much of this started with nothing more than a horse, a dream, and a whole lot of stubbornness.

There have been days I’ve questioned myself. Days when the progress felt too slow. Days when a horse taught me something the hard way, and days when I wondered if I was really capable of building the future I could see so clearly in my head.

But then I look around.

At the horses standing in front of me.
At the ones who have trusted me when they didn’t know how to trust yet.
At the young ones learning their first lessons.
At the people who have believed in what we’re building.

And I realize this has never really just been about training horses.

It’s about building something that means something.

It’s about creating horses that are confident because someone took the time to teach them. It’s about learning to slow down, start over, and celebrate the little things. It’s about becoming better for every horse that comes through our program.

We may not have everything figured out.
We may still be a long way from where we want to be.

But I’d rather build this slowly, honestly, and with purpose than ever take a shortcut just to make it look like we’ve already arrived.
Because one day, I want to look back at Arrow C and know that every late night, every hard lesson, every setback, and every single step was worth it.

This is more than a business to us.

This is the life we’re building. And we’re just getting started. 🤎🐴

We’re not here to stay comfortable. We’re here to grow. 🤠

We’re pushing toward a bigger, better future for Arrow C Performance Horses, and that means being willing to always learn, improve, and step outside of what we already know.

We’re working toward attending more clinics, lessons, and educational opportunities so we can continue expanding our knowledge and bring even more to the horses we work with. Because the truth is, you never “know it all” when it comes to horses.

Every horse teaches you something.
Every ride teaches you something.
Every mistake teaches you something.
And every new experience gives you another tool to put in your toolbox.

The horse industry is a never-ending learning game, and we don’t want to stop learning just because we’ve gotten good at something. We want to get better. Smarter. More knowledgeable. More well-rounded.

Our goal has never been to just train horses. It’s to continue building ourselves so we can give every horse that comes through our program the very best we have to offer.

Bigger goals. Bigger knowledge. Bigger future.
And we’re just getting started. 🐴🔥

Here’s the hard truth: the horse doesn’t care if you’re tired, unmotivated, or having a bad day.

You said you wanted the broke horse.
You said you wanted the finished horse.
You said you wanted the partnership.

Then show up and do the work.
Not just when it’s fun.
Not just when the horse is making you look good.
Not just when you feel like it.

Show up when it’s 100 degrees.
Show up when it’s freezing.
Show up when yesterday’s training didn’t go how you wanted.

Show up when you’re frustrated.
Show up when nobody is watching.
Because horses don’t become solid, trustworthy, well-rounded partners overnight.
It takes repetition.

It takes consistency.
It takes patience.
It takes getting your ass back in the saddle and trying again.

Everybody wants the finished horse. Not everybody wants to put in the work it takes to make one.

At Arrow C, we aren’t interested in skipping steps or pretending the hard days don’t exist.
We show up. We do the work. We fix what needs fixing. And we do it again tomorrow.

Because the horse you’re proud to ride someday is being built by what you do today. 🖤🐴

⏳ THE COUNTDOWN IS ON… 👀
3… 2… 1…

Something BIG is coming to Arrow C Performance Horses.

We’ve been working quietly behind the scenes, making plans, having conversations, and putting pieces together that we’ve been dreaming about for a long time.

We’re not quite ready to tell you where we’re headed, what we’re adding, or what’s coming next… but we will say this:

🏹 A new chapter is coming.
🐴 More opportunities.
🧬 New beginnings.
🤝 More room for client horses.
📍 And maybe… a new place to call home.

The countdown has officially started, and every day gets us closer to being able to finally say:

“Here’s what we’ve been working on.” 👀

We’ve been building toward this for a long time, and this next chapter is going to be bigger, different, and unlike anything we’ve done before.

Stay tuned. The clock is ticking… ⏳🖤

Every step matters. 🐴

At Arrow C Performance Horses, we believe the little things aren’t little at all. Every step a horse takes in our program has a purpose.

We don’t believe in rushing through the basics just to get to the “exciting” stuff. We take the time to make sure our horses understand each step before asking them for the next one. From groundwork, standing tied, bathing, grooming, saddling, loading, handling their feet, accepting pressure, learning to relax, and everything in between — we want them to know it, not just tolerate it.

Because when the foundation is right, everything built on top of it becomes stronger.
We want our horses to be confident, respectful, willing, and prepared for whatever comes next. That means showing the good, the hard, the frustrating, and sometimes the slow progress — because that’s what real training looks like.
We aren’t interested in skipping steps for the sake of looking further along.

We believe in doing it right, doing it thoroughly, and giving every horse the time they need to truly learn.

Every horse deserves a foundation they can carry with them for the rest of their life.
Every step matters. And we make sure they learn every one. 🤍

👀 Something BIG is happening at Arrow C Performance Horses…

We’ve been a little quiet behind the scenes lately, but trust us when we say… there’s a reason. 🤫

A lot of planning, hard work, late nights, big decisions, and even BIGGER dreams have been happening behind the scenes. And while we can’t tell you everything just yet… we’re getting closer. 👀

New opportunities.
New horses.
New goals.
New chapters.

Some things are worth keeping quiet until they’re ready to be announced. 😉 And when the time comes, we think you’re going to understand why we’ve been so excited.

Arrow C is growing, and this is only the beginning. 🤍🐴

Stay tuned… because we have a LOT more coming than you think. 👀🔥

Keep your head down. Keep your boots dusty. Keep your eyes on the horizon. 🐴

You don’t have to be 100% better than you were yesterday.

You just have to be 1% better.

One more try.
One better step.
One little breakthrough.
One lesson learned.

Some days, that 1% will feel huge. Other days, it might be nothing more than showing up and putting in the work.

But small progress, repeated every day, adds up.

We aren’t chasing perfection. We’re building something better — one ride, one horse, and one day at a time.

Keep showing up. Keep putting in the work. Keep getting 1% better.

Because 1% better every day becomes something unstoppable.

This is the part of horse training that doesn’t always make it onto the highlight reel.

We want to show the whole process — not just the glorified moments. The good rides, the breakthroughs, the firsts, the mistakes, the difficult moments, the bucks, and everything in between. Horses are not machines, and training isn’t always pretty. Sometimes you have to sit a buck, work through a scary moment, or help a horse figure out how to handle pressure. Those moments are part of the process, too.

We don’t believe in only showing the finished product and making horse training look perfect. We want our followers and clients to see the real work that goes into creating a broke, confident, well-rounded horse. Every horse has its own challenges, and every step forward is earned.

With that being said, we want to address something directly. We have received hate and negativity directed toward our team, and that is not something we will accept or allow. You don’t have to agree with every method we use, but disrespect toward our team will not be tolerated.

We are proud of the work we put into these horses, proud of the girls who show up every day and put in the work, and proud of the horsemanship we continue to build.
Constructive conversation is always welcome. Hate, bullying, and disrespect toward our team are not. We will always stand behind our people and protect the positive environment we are building. 🤍

You don’t have to agree with every method we use, and respectful conversation is always welcome. But attacking the women who work hard every day for these horses is not something we will tolerate.

We will continue to show the real stuff — not just the pretty stuff. We’re proud of our horses, proud of our team, and proud of the work that happens when nobody is watching.

Real horses. Real training. Real progress.

It’s easy to scroll through social media and see only the good side of training horses—the breakthroughs, the quiet rides, the perfect moments, and the finished product. But what you don’t always see is everything that happens behind those moments. The video below is a reminder that training horses isn’t always pretty, and it certainly isn’t always easy. What you see in the “bad” clip happened less than 30 minutes before the “good” clip. There were mistakes, frustration, setbacks, and moments where things simply didn’t go as planned. But that is part of training. The goal isn’t to make every session look perfect; it’s to work through the difficult moments, learn from them, make adjustments, and come back better. Real training is messy sometimes, and we think it’s important to show both sides—not just the polished moments, but the struggles that make the good moments mean so much more.
