Back to the racetrack where it all began. 🏁

These boys are fierce competitors—never giving an inch on the track, sharing heated moments, big passion, and the kind of battles that make this sport so special. But off the track? They’d go the extra mile for each other without hesitation.

When the helmets come off and they’re back in the grandstands, they’re just buddies again, laughing, cheering each other and their siblings on, and sharing the love of the sport they’ve grown up with.

Back to their roots. Back to where it all began. A beautiful reminder that the fiercest competitors form lifelong friendships and why we all love this sport so much.

Our first Deming Speedway Clay Cup Nationals in the 600R is one for the books!

Night 1: Qualified 2nd quick in our session, 4th overall and picked up 1 spot in the heat race going from p4 to p3. Put us in a really great spot sitting 5th in points. Unfortunately, Mother Nature won and we didn’t get a chance to run the main.

Night 2: Qualified 3rd quick and went P4 to P3 in the heat. Started P11 and jumped a tire on the initial start that unfortunately collected a few cars. Came to the work area, nothing was fixable- so went back out and just wheeled it to finish P13.

Final Night: Based on prelim days points, started P7 in the feature and had an absolute blast ripping the top for a 4th place finish!

Congratulations to the podium! Well deserved by Dayton Empey, HHRacing and Sage Parker- all local drivers who have been fast all season and cool to see a rookie up there!

A heartfelt thank you to our friends and family. If you came up to Aiden after that feature- a special thank you to you! You made the night an even more incredible memory!

Of course we couldn’t do it without our Crew Chief Skyler Jennings and our sponsors who week after week allow us to do what we do!

Today a boy faced a tough decision between two things he loves: racing and baseball.

It wasn't about choosing one passion over the other. It was about two commitments that happened to fall at the same time.

He chose to be with his baseball team for their Pony league championship game, honoring the commitment he made to his teammates and coaches.

Racing will still be there, and so will his love for it. Today was simply about being where he felt he needed to be.

As much as our family loves racing, we are so proud of his thought, maturity, and character he showed in making a difficult choice.

How to polish your nerf bar in 3 easy steps:

1. Be the only car in the field to survive the Lap 1, turn 1 carnage.

2. Drive the wheels off it and somehow bring home P2 with a tire rubbing the whole way.

3. Thank the Good Lord above it was only an 8-lap heat race and the tire didn't decide to explode.

One of the best things about racing is that family isn’t always defined by blood. Sometimes it’s the friends in the next pit over, the people who lend you parts when you’re struggling, stay late to help fix the car, or cheer just as hard for your win as they do their own.

In this sport, competitors become teammates, rivals become lifelong friends, and before long, the track starts to feel like home. Racing has a way of turning friendships into family.

You can battle hard on the track and still be the first person there to help when something goes wrong. That’s what makes this community different. The respect, support, and bond between racers goes far beyond the finish line.

The trophies matter, but the people beside you every weekend matter more. The friendships built through racing last long after the checkered flag falls — and that’s what truly makes this sport so special.

HUGE thank you to Kole and Campbell Kids Racing for setting the 22 aside to rip with the 99 on the wing. We knew going into this season we weren’t running all the races and definitely not for points, but with the CKR team the chase is possible! 🏁

In baseball, you strike out. Even the best to ever do it fail 7 out of 10 times. It’s part of the game.
And they’ll tell you—if you’re going to strike out, you better be swinging.

Because not all strikeouts are equal.
Striking out looking is the worst. It shows hesitation. Doubt. A missed opportunity to compete.

Our Friday night feature? That one felt like a strikeout swinging.

We laid down a great lap in qualifying, but caution came out for a DOT car and couldn’t put another one together, winding up mid-pack.

Rolled off outside pole in the heat race and executed exactly how we needed to—jumped to the lead and held it for all 8 laps. Smooth. Confident. In control.

Feature time, we lined up outside pole again, expecting more of the same.

Chose the high side… and clipped the wall in turn 2 (strike one).
Tried to make it back up in 3 and 4… didn’t stick (strike two). Lost a few spots, fought back a couple, then a caution reset us.

The count felt full, but no strike three into the wall. We kept swinging. Tried the bottom, worked the top, and finally started to figure it out… just ran out of laps. Did what we could with a bent front end- finishing 6th.

Going backwards wasn’t the plan. But all 25 of those laps is where the learning happened and is preparing us for that home run.

Thanks to Skagit's White Push Truck for capturing those moments!

People love to say, “It’s not about winning.”

And sure… I get what they mean. It’s about the experience, the memories, the lessons, the late nights, the early mornings, the people in your corner. That stuff matters… a lot.

But let’s not pretend winning doesn’t matter.
When you’re a racer, it does.

We don’t pour time, money, energy, and heart into this just to be okay with average. We chase improvement. We chase results. We chase that feeling when everything comes together and you cross the line knowing you earned it.

Wanting to win doesn’t take away from the experience—it adds to it. It pushes you to be better, to learn more, to work harder. It teaches you how to handle both sides of it too… because if you’re chasing wins, you’re also going to face losses.

And that’s the balance.
It’s about the fun.
It’s about the growth.
It’s about the people.
And yes—it’s about winning too.

Not at the expense of everything else… but as part of what makes it all meaningful.

Because the best part?
The wins mean more because of everything it took to get there.
