A new week brings new opportunities.
We can't control every situation our children will face, but we can help them develop an attitude that says,
"I'll keep learning. I'll keep growing. I'll keep trying."
A positive attitude doesn't ignore challenges.
It chooses hope over frustration and effort over excuses.
That's a lesson that serves children for a lifetime.
As we head into a new month, what's one positive habit your family wants to focus on? Share it below, we'd love to encourage you!

Today is about more than earning a new belt.
It's about celebrating every practice, every correction, every challenge, and every moment of growth that brought our students here.
Confidence isn't created in one day.
It's built through consistent effort and the courage to keep showing up.
We're proud of every student testing today, and we can't wait to celebrate their hard work.
Help us cheer on our students by wishing them good luck in the comments! 🥋👏

Sometimes confidence looks like this. 🥋
A kid standing in front of a board.
A deep breath.
A little encouragement.
And then… CRACK. 💥
Tonight at Buchanan Fields, we’re getting to do one of our favorite things, spending time with families in our community.
We’re here for Evergreen Parks and Recreation District Movie Night, helping kids learn how to break boards, answering questions about Taekwondo, and most importantly, reminding kids that they’re capable of more than they think.
Because breaking a board isn't really about the board.
It's about learning to:
• Try something that feels intimidating
• Keep going when it’s hard
• Trust yourself
• Celebrate progress
And then we get to put the boards away, grab some popcorn, and watch WALL-E together with our community. ❤️
This is what we love about Taekwondo.
It doesn't just happen inside the studio.
It shows up in the confidence kids carry with them everywhere else.
If you're part of the Evergreen community, come say hi! We'd love to meet your family!
What if your child had a mentor who could see something in them that they couldn't see yet?
At Worlds 2026, Master Emma Horn was promoted to Senior Master, a milestone built on years of training, teaching, learning, and mentorship.
During the ceremony, they talked about humility and the meaning behind the bow.
In Taekwondo, you can earn belts, titles, medals, and leadership roles.
But the higher you rise, the more important it becomes to remember the people who helped you get there.
A mentor doesn't just teach technique.
A great mentor helps you recognize strengths you haven't discovered yet, challenges you when you need it, and reminds you to stay humble when you succeed.
That's something we want every student at Envision to experience.
Because our goal isn't simply to help students become better at Taekwondo.
It's to help them become confident, respectful, disciplined leaders who eventually have the opportunity to encourage someone else.
That's how growth becomes legacy.
Congratulations to Senior Master Emma Horn and to all of the mentors who continue to invest in the next generation. 🥋

Confidence isn't something children are born with.
It's something they earn.
Real confidence grows every time a child faces a challenge, learns from a mistake, or accomplishes something they once thought was impossible.
That's why we celebrate progress, not perfection.
Every stripe earned, every belt promoted, and every challenge overcome reminds students:
"I am capable."
Confidence built through effort lasts much longer than confidence built through praise alone.
💬 Wisdom for the Week:
"Confidence isn't believing you'll never fail. It's believing you'll learn and grow no matter what."
Challenge: Ask your child, "What's something you can do today that you couldn't do six months ago?"

Confidence isn't something children are born with.
It's something they build.
Every new skill mastered, every stripe earned, and every challenge overcome reminds students that they're capable of more than they imagined.
Real confidence comes from effort, perseverance, and believing that growth is possible.
That's the kind of confidence that lasts.
What's one area where you've seen your child become more confident this year? Share it below so we can celebrate with you!

Legacy isn't always loud. Sometimes you see it in the people someone has inspired.
Grand Master Horn has spent decades teaching Taekwondo, developing instructors, and helping students become stronger versions of themselves.
But perhaps the greatest measure of his impact isn't found in a title or accomplishment.
It's found in the people.
The student who gained confidence.
The instructor who learned to lead.
The family who found a community.
The person who was encouraged to keep going when things got difficult.
Through Envision Martial Arts, the National Martial Arts Alliance and the Horn Family Foundation, Grand Master Jody Horn has continued to invest in something much bigger than Taekwondo.
He's invested in people.
That's what leadership looks like.
Not simply being the person at the front of the room, but inspiring others to step forward themselves.
Today, we're incredibly grateful for the wisdom, leadership, and inspiration he has shared with so many.
We're also grateful for Master Emma Horn and the partnership they share in inspiring and supporting the martial arts community.
Happy Birthday, Grand Master Horn! 🥋❤️
Thank you for inspiring us to learn, lead, and become better every day.
Help us wish him a happy birthday by leaving a ❤️ in the comments!

Sometimes the best way to help our children focus is to slow down ourselves.
This weekend, try spending just 20 uninterrupted minutes together.
No phones.
No TV.
Just conversation, a game, or a walk.
Children remember our attention far longer than our distractions.
Those moments strengthen relationships and build confidence.
What's your family's favorite way to spend quality time together?
The best Taekwondo school for your child isn't necessarily the one with the biggest trophies, the fanciest facility, or the most followers.
It's the one where your child feels challenged and supported.
Where instructors know their name.
Where they're expected to work hard, but mistakes are treated as part of learning.
Where they're learning how to treat others, not just how to perform techniques.
And where you can actually see them growing.
Because when you're choosing a Taekwondo program, you're not just choosing where your child will learn Taekwondo.
You're choosing the people who will be part of their development.
That's worth looking at closely.
If you're considering Taekwondo for your child this school year, come watch a class, meet our instructors, and see how we work with our students at Envision Martial Arts.
Huge thank you to all who joined at Worlds 2026 in support of the Horn Family Foundation with the National Martial Arts Alliance.
