We fought hard in Division C and were right there in the medal mix until the very end. While we aren’t walking away with hardware this time, we couldn’t be prouder of the grit, heart, and teamwork everyone showed.

- Our Boston Coaching Team, Captain Dani, and Steerer Mark for preparing, herding, and inspiring us.
-Our 5 first-timers for absolutely crushing their first races.
-Our teammates and families who showed up loud and proud to cheer us on.
-The Boston Dragon Boat Festival and 22Dragons for hosting an incredible event.

This is just the kickoff to our season, and the fire is officially lit. 🔥

This time next week, Living Root Dragon Boat is kicking off our competition season right here at home for the Boston Dragon Boat Festival! 🐲🛶🌊

Come catch the action near the John W. Weeks Bridge—just a short, 12-minute walk from the Harvard Square Red Line T stop. Aside from the high-energy racing, the festival will feature amazing food vendors and traditional cultural performances and activities all day Sunday.

If you are in the Boston area and have ever been curious about dragon boating, this is the perfect time to check it out. With over 70 teams competing, there will be back-to-back races all day (with just a quick break for lunch).
