🎄It’s today!!! Wear your Christmas spirit and join us for a parent meeting about the Christmas Show in concessions at 5:45 PM!

This meeting is intended for Learn to Skate parents and will focus on show participation for Basic Skills & Freeskate levels. For higher skaters, more details will be available in a virtual meeting next week and on our website!

Next Tuesday is Christmas in September at Learn to Skate! Dress up for a holiday-themed spirit day and learn more about participating in our upcoming Christmas Show! We encourage skaters of all levels and ages to be part of the show. We’ll hold a brief parent informational meeting during LTS class next Tuesday to coincide with the opening of show registration.

We’re kicking off a new set of Aspire classes this October! We invite skaters in Basic 4 through Aspire 4 to join us for a Kickoff Clinic on Thursday, October 15th to give Aspire a try and learn more about the upcoming class! Registration for the clinic is open on our website.

What is Aspire? The bridge from Learn to Skate and the Basic Skills levels into competitive training! We hold a variety of classes throughout the year for skaters in Basic 4 through Aspire 4. These classes work on developing different aspects of skating than Learn to Skate and/or private lessons and are intended to supplement those lessons in a fun group environment.

Future Stars class starts tomorrow! Registrations are due tonight. Our last Future Stars spotlight is Willow! Take a look at what she and her mom said about the class below.

From Willow: I love skating because of the accepting environment. Everyone treats you amazingly even if you're new. I also love making new friends and spending time with old friends. I love the excitement of getting to learn new skills and moves and the joy of perfecting old moves. (PS-Getting new music and dresses is REALLY fun!)

Parent Perspective: Future Stars was a great way to dip our toes into the world of figure skating competitions. The program was well organized and provided parents with a better understanding of all things competitive figure skating: how to register for a competition, how to find a dress, how to do hair and makeup, etc. Even though Willow had been in Learn to Skate classes for a while, it was Future Stars that really sparked her love of skating!
