Eugene Yoga, a Sanctuary for Body, Mind, Spirit serves the community by providing accessible, sustainable yoga for every body. Classes include yoga for strength & balance, gentle yoga, Hatha, Vinyasa, yoga nidra, prenatal yoga, flow yoga, yoga basics. We have two locations where we offer weekly classes taught by skilled, credentialed instructors representing a myriad of yoga schools. Workshops, series, retreats, teacher trainings, and guest instructors are also part of our program. Our dedication to a safe and supportive environment provides you the opportunity to find a deep connection to body, mind, and spirit leading to vitality and well being. 🌿 Your first 200 hours gave you the foundation. Where will you take your teaching next?

Eugene Yoga’s 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training begins September 27, offering certified yoga teachers an opportunity to continue learning, deepen their personal practice, and grow with the support of an experienced yoga community.

The program is designed with flexibility in mind:

✨ Bi-weeklySunday sessions from 2:00–6:00 PM
✨ $120/month for 10 months
✨ Unlimited Eugene Yoga membership included
✨ Complete the program over two or three years

What are you training your body to do ten, twenty, or thirty years from now?

Maybe it’s hiking, traveling, gardening, getting up and down from the floor, carrying groceries, or simply continuing to move through everyday life with confidence.

Yoga can help us think beyond flexibility and focus on something bigger: building the strength, balance, mobility, and awareness that support the way we want to live as we age.

What are you holding onto that might be asking to be released?

Aparigraha is one of the five Yamas within the Eight Limbs of Yoga. Often translated as non-attachment, non-grasping, or non-possessiveness, it asks us to examine our relationship with what we hold onto.

And that goes far beyond our possessions.

We can cling to expectations, outcomes, relationships, old identities, accomplishments, and ideas about how life is supposed to unfold. Aparigraha doesn't ask us to stop caring. Instead, it invites us to notice when caring becomes clinging and consider what might become possible if we loosen our grip.

In our newest blog, we explore this traditional yogic teaching and how we can practice Aparigraha both on the mat and in everyday life.

Using props, choosing a modification, taking an extra moment of rest, losing your balance, asking questions, or walking into class as a complete beginner are all part of the practice.

Yoga isn’t about keeping up with the person next to you. It’s an opportunity to build awareness, listen to your body, and discover what supports you each time you step onto your mat.

Throughout the weekend, we’ll explore yoga as a source of refuge, connection, steadfastness, and wellbeing, with practical teachings that can continue supporting you long after the retreat ends.
