🎉We are SO excited to welcome back to Sinai and introduce you to our new DIRECTOR of REC Gymnastics🤸🏽‍♀️

LESLEY MITCHELL

"My love for gymnastics started when I was five years old. I competed throughout my childhood and through high school before transitioning into coaching. I eventually stepped away from coaching to pursue my career in law enforcement, but my love for the sport never left me.

A couple of years ago, I had the opportunity to return to coaching here at Sinai, and I quickly realized how much I had missed it. I am passionate about helping young gymnasts develop a strong foundation of skills they can continue to build on as they grow. Just as importantly, I believe gymnastics should be taught in a safe, positive, and fun environment—one that builds confidence and gives kids the same lifelong love of the sport that I have carried with me all these years.

Outside of gymnastics, I help run Lucy’s First Step, a charity that supports families who have experienced the loss of a child. We provide financial assistance for burial expenses and headstones and work with local hospitals to provide comfort resources to families following their loss.

I’m also the proud mom of three awesome boys—Peter, Andrew, and Michael. And no, none of them are gymnasts…although I certainly tried!

I’m excited to be part of the Sinai gymnastics program and look forward to helping our gymnasts learn, grow, gain confidence, and most of all, love gymnastics."

A great weekend of competition wrapped up as Bronson and Will both took home 🪙 at ROC City Ninja in the opening weekend for the World Ninja League .
And zach wrapped up his championship Sunday by once again winning the hybrid round, and ultimately finishing in 4th place.
Great job Samurai!
