Meditation, Lunar Vinyasa + Contemplative Yoga
with Devon Sweeney + Jeremy Wolf
40-Hour Teacher Training
Sandhyā Yoga | Englewood, CO
Fall is our favorite season to practice grounding + rest. We’re coming together for a two weekend program devoted to the quieter, deeper, regenerative dimensions of yoga.
Lunar Arts is a multidimensional immersion into Lunar Prana Vinyasa, meditation, Yoga Nidra, yogic psychology, pranayama, somatics, and the practices that help us cultivate steadiness, regulation, deep rest, and inner listening.
Devon will lead the Lunar Vinyasa + stillness-based practices (including Yin yoga), exploring slow and integrative sequencing through anatomical, somatic, and energetic lenses. We’ll look closely at nervous system regulation, adaptive cueing and props, breath, meditation, music, voice, creative imagery, and the art of opening and closing practice.
Jeremy will guide us deeper into Yoga Nidra + yogic psychology through the Yoga Sutras and Hatha Yoga Pradipika, exploring pratyahara, sankalpa, vichara, witness consciousness, the kleshas, the four parts of mind, and the inner conditions that support meditation and pranic vitality.
This training is designed for yoga teachers AND dedicated practitioners who want to deepen their own relationship with the contemplative arts of yoga. You do not need to be a teacher to participate, but a dedicated practice is recommended.

RETURN TO AVALON | October 29-November 3, 2026
An Adirondack Forest Retreat
Potsdam, New York
This fall, we’re going to Avalon.
Nestled along the St. Regis River in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, Return to Avalon is an intimate retreat created as a space to step away from the pace of everyday life and return to the rhythms of practice, nature, nourishment, and community.
We’ll gather over Samhain/Halloween, a potent seasonal sandhyā, or threshold between cycles, as autumn moves toward winter, harvest toward rest, and the outward energy of the warmer months begins to turn inward.
Over our days together, we’ll explore:
〰️ Daily yoga + asana
〰️ Meditation + contemplative practice
〰️ Movement + energy-based practices
〰️ Yoga Nidra + deep rest
〰️ Forest walks + time along the St. Regis River
〰️ Bonfires + cozy fall evenings
〰️ Seasonal, Ayurvedic-inspired meals
〰️ Spacious time for rest + connection
Our practices will take place at Avalon Retreat Center, a forest oasis with private riverfront trails and an intimate octagonal practice space. We’ll stay together nearby in a cozy riverfront cottage, sharing Ayurvedic seasonal meals, practices, nature, and plenty of room for both connection and solitude.
Devon Sweeney, Drake Unruh + Morgan Doyle will guide the weekend, weaving together asana, meditation, seasonal and elemental practices, movement, healing exploration, energy work, and deeply restorative Yoga Nidra.
Accommodations, all meals, retreat programming, excursions, local transportation, and roundtrip group transportation from Burlington, Vermont are included. Book your own flight.
This is intentionally a small, family-style retreat with very limited space.
A return to nature.
A return to practice.
A return to one another.
A return to yourself.

Embodied Anatomy: A Somatic Approach to Yoga Anatomy | August 22-23, 2026
This weekend immersion with Devon Sweeney invites yoga teachers into an experiential study of the body through movement, palpation, self-touch, discussion, and integrated practice. Rather than approaching anatomy as information to memorize, we’ll explore it as something to feel, investigate, and directly experience.
Together we’ll study the architecture of the musculoskeletal system while weaving in principles of biomechanics, fascia, breath, energetic anatomy, and functional movement. The result is an approach to anatomy that is practical, intuitive, and immediately applicable to both personal practice and skillful teaching.
Devon’s background bridges yoga education and therapeutic bodywork, and this immersion is designed to help teachers refine their eye, deepen their understanding of movement, and cultivate greater confidence in cueing, sequencing, modifications, and hands-on teaching.
Over the weekend we’ll explore:
• Embodied palpation and anatomical landmarks
• Applied anatomy for asana and intelligent sequencing
• Joint mechanics and principles of stability
• Fascia and whole-body movement patterns
• The anatomy of breath, the diaphragm, pelvic floor, and deep core
• The relationship between structure, bandhas, vayus, and the subtle body
• Touch as a tool for proprioception and embodied learning
• Integrating anatomical knowledge with intuition and responsive teaching
Saturday: 10:00am-7:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am-5:30pm
16 Hours/CEUs
This course is open to all yoga teachers for Yoga Alliance continuing ed credits and may also be applied as credit toward Sandhyā Yoga’s 300 Hour Teacher Training. Register at sandhyayoga.com
