Just a little reminder that Prayer for Peace is tomorrow 🙏🏼
This gathering is an invitation to slow down, come back to center, and create a little more peace within ourselves that creates a ripple into the conscious collective.
What to expect:
We’ll gather in a calm, welcoming space and spend time connecting through mantra repetition, breath awareness, and guided meditation.
This is the ancient Sanskrit mantra we’ll be working with and repeating 108 times:
Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu
May all beings everywhere be happy and free.
Chanting these sacred syllables out loud or in our heads creates a resonance within us that aligns us with the frequency of that which we desire. It is especially powerful when we all gather with the same intention.
You don’t need any experience with meditation, Sanskrit, chanting, or yoga to participate. All you need is a desire to see a more peaceful world where all beings everywhere are happy and free.
Bring a jar (ideally with a lid) with you! We’ll cleanse the jar, fill it with water, then let our intentions for peace infuse into it. Water holds memory and studies show that the intention you put into it changes the structure of the water. We’ll take our water home with us to give back to the earth creating a grid of peace and protection around our community 🙏🏼
Expect a grounding, meditative experience with moments of chanting, inward reflection, and collective intention. Though there will be chanting/mantra repetition, you’re always welcome to participate in whatever way feels comfortable for you.
What to bring:
✅Come in comfortable clothes and bring anything that will help you settle in; water bottle or other barrage, journal, cozy layers, etc. Mats and props will be available, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
Most importantly, bring an open heart and open mind 🫶🏼
In a world that can feel loud and heavy, it is so powerful to gather in community and consciously choose peace, even just for an hour.
We can’t control everything happening around us, but we can tend to the energy we bring into the spaces we inhabit, the people we encounter, and the lives we touch.
