2026 Fall STAC Fall Notes:

* STAC is a league for these fall sports: boys & girls soccer, girls swimming, boys golf, game day cheerleading, girls volleyball, boys & girls cross country, girls tennis

* Football and Field Hockey are not part of STAC. All of the schools throughout Section IV that participate in these sports are broken up into divisions.

* STAC Divisions:
West - Corning, Elmira, Horseheads, Ithaca
Metro - Binghamton, Maine-Endwell, Union-Endicott, Vestal
Central - Chenango Valley, Johnson City, Owego, Seton, Waverly
East - Chenango Forks, Norwich, Oneonta, Susquehanna Valley, Windsor

* STAC Championships are now broken up into Large School (West and Metro) and Small School (Central and East). Each division winner meets in their respective championship. There are no Semi-final games anymore.

* STAC will crown 2 different champions this year: Large School (West and Metro) and Small School (Central and East)

Girls Tennis - Thursday, October 8 at Metro (Large School) and Central (Small School) division champions

Golf - Tuesday, October 13 at TBD

Boys Soccer - Thursday, October 15 at Metro (Large School) and Central (Small School) division champions

Girls Soccer - Thursday, October 15 at Metro (Large School) and Central (Small School) division champions

Game Day Cheerleading - Sunday, October 18 at Chenango Valley

Boys & Girls Cross Country - Saturday, October 24 at Fortin Park in Oneonta

Volleyball - Wednesday, October 28 at Metro (Large School) and Central (Small School) division champions

(* Dates often stay the same, but occasionally change to due factors such as field availability.)

STAC Championships will either be held at a neutral field/court, or will rotate each year between division champions.

Large School (West and Metro) Championships will be held at the Metro division champion this year (next year at the West).

Small School (Central and East) Championships will be held at the Central division champion this year (next year at the East).
