We had a great group last week climbing some high elevation crags on Sonora Pass Highway!

Nine climbers made the drive out, and the crags delivered. Solid rock, wide-open Sierra scenery, and a crew that brought the energy all day. Couldn’t have asked for a better group to share it with

This 2-day course builds your rescue toolkit — belaying, rappelling, lowering, ascending, anchoring, knot passing — then puts it to work in real, weighted scenarios. Four days, three nights, real granite. The Sonora Pass Expedition is a backcountry climbing and camping trip for ages 11-14, run with Tahoe Summer Camps and co-guided by AMGA-certified guides.
