New style! New material! And a New process!!

This stick has a bunch of new going on first thing is bamboo!! I never really worked with bamboo before, and there's a lot of learning curves behind it. It by far is the best in weight to strength ratio. I'll go as far to say that if you had an oak with the same diameter as the bamboo, the bamboo would be stronger.

Next is the new idea I have of the square top. It fits well and is almost like a fist if needed.

But the most difficult portion of this was figuring out how to attach anything to bamboo. Because bamboo is so hollow, and every section is a hollowed cavern where it would make it very difficult to attach anything let it alone at cane top or a square top like this. Well I figured it out and now bamboo, with many different variations and styles, is now going to be in my lineup.

I'll be there with a few new walking Stick flavors!!

This door has welcomed many people in its 150+ years, and Saturday, September 12th, you will have an opportunity to walk through it and see the many items on the other side. Windmill Cottage Creations will be holding its Fall Event from 9 until 1, with a dozen wonderful vendors set up and the store featuring lots of new inventory items.

New products on the selves being introduced this week include Frontier Soups, Jumping Goat Coffee, Rabbit Creek Desserts and Breads, and Dip mixes.

The Farm at Bunton Place has provided new crop Strawberry Fig Preserves, Grape and Blueberry Jelly, and Apple Butter.

We also have our past favorites which are Tim's Homemade Pickles and Salsa and Scary Jerry's BBQ and Hot Sauces.

The shelves have been restocked with Local Honey, and when I say local, I mean that you can see the hives from the store's front porch. This is high-quality Raw Honey and is in great demand. Don't miss out.

There will also be more baked goods than you can imagine including Old-Fashioned Fried Pies.

And Fresh Boiled Peanuts!

On September the 12th we will be set up at Windmill Cottage Creations from 9am until 1pm.
There will be many different styles and designs of walking sticks and even have the laser in tow so you can personalize!!!

This will be the first show where I'll be showing off a few new designs like the Mazers(maze for the handle), Padda-Walks(paddle tops) and a Cedar Square top/Bamboo hybrid I've been working on.

There will be 11 vendors out here AND the General store loaded it down with many new items and baked goods!

I now engrave the Stars into the Ole' Glory Sticks and it was cool to convert cutting board material to a Padda-Walk!
