Maya does a great job with her active takes, making a decision on every ball she sees. You’ll hear her call out “no” or “that’s yellow” as she recognizes each pitch and stays engaged throughout the drill.
This is more than just a whiffle ball drill. It helps athletes train their eyes, recognize pitch location, make confident decisions, and compete in the strike zone.
We also like adding an athlete to feed the coach. This keeps more athletes involved and creates a more active, competitive drill for the whole group.
A simple drill. A purposeful approach. Skills that transfer to the game.
