The 8U Rangers would like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Hardin County ISR and Angela Churchman for supporting our boys as an MVP Sponsor!

Angela is doing incredible work right here in our community by teaching children lifesaving water survival and self-rescue skills. Hardin County ISR provides individualized, one-on-one swim instruction for children ages 6 months to 6+ years, helping little ones learn to swim, float, self-rescue, and become more confident around the water.

Thank you Hardin Co. ISR for investing in our Rangers and for the work you do to help keep kids in our community safe. We are incredibly grateful for you!

I’ll share this every year. Just because summer is coming to an end 😭 doesn’t mean water safety and swim lessons stop either. Take advantage of my August 31 session and sign up today

Drowning knows no season! With water safety being a year-round responsibility, it’s never too late to sign up for self-rescue swim lessons. Remember, water can be enticing even in cold weather, so don’t wait until next summer. For those who have already started lessons, let’s remember that kids grow mentally and physically so if they finish lessons early in the year, a quick refresher later in the year can help keep them safe. We know that drowning is the #1 cause of death for children under 5 y/o so keep your little ones safe throughout every season with their #1 layer of protection - survival swimming skills.

Backyard pools, ponds, lakes, vacations, and unexpected access to water can happen year-round. That’s why teaching children how to self-rescue is one of the most important investments you can make.

💦 ISR lessons teach infants and young children the skills to:
✔️ Roll onto their back to breathe
✔️ Float and rest
✔️ Swim to safety when developmentally appropriate

Spots are limited and fill quickly, so don’t wait until next season to wish you had started.

Hot take: teachers don’t make enough money!

I know firsthand how much of their OWN money teachers spend to make sure their classrooms feel safe, inviting and supportive to their kids. They spend their OWN money to buy extra supplies so that no kid feels left out. My mom is a retired teacher (she taught middle school for 20+ years) and my little sister is an elementary SpEd teacher.

Between today and tomorrow if you buy something off my sisters wishlist and send me a screenshot of it, I’ll offer a FREE maintenance lesson (or two depending on the value). It takes a village to raise and support our kids and teachers play a vital role in our little ones lives. Help a sister out!

And if you’re unable to purchase something, prayers for a wonderful school year for her and her students are ALWAYS appreciated 🫶🏼

Hi friends! I wanted to reintroduce myself and welcome all of my new followers!!

My name is Angela and I’ve been an ISR instructor for almost 4 years. I first learned about ISR nearly 10 years ago. My family has always been around water- we have a lake house, my parents have a pool, and we frequent the beach about twice a year! When my son was born I wanted him to have these lifesaving skills. At the time, though, the closest instructor was almost an hour away. About four and a half years ago, my husband encouraged me to become an instructor so I could not only teach our own children, but also make these lessons more accessible for other families in our community.

Today, my greatest passion is giving children the confidence and skills to save themselves in the water while giving parents greater peace of mind. It’s incredibly rewarding to know I’m helping make a difference, one child at a time. Watching that “ah ha” moment never gets old!!

When I’m not in the water you can find me being a mom to Brice (8) and Kinsley (5). My husband, Kasey, and I just celebrated 10 years of marriage!! I love watching Brice play baseball, going to Disney World with my family, being out on the lake or at the beach, attending UK football and basketball games, or just spending time at home and with family (I’m one of 6 kids and between us all we have 12 kids! We all live within 15-20 mins of our parents house and talk/see each other ALL. THE. TIME!!) I love to read and I hate to cook 🫣

If you’ve made it this far, comment below how you found my page or how you know me! And if you’ve been on the fence about lessons, let’s chat! Thanks for being here- your support means the world to me 🫶🏼
