CGM friends — we wanted to share a really meaningful event happening in Yorktown. 💙⚓️

The Coast Guard Foundation’s Run to Remember honors Coast Guard heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Since 2011, it has grown into a worldwide tradition of remembrance, movement, and support.

That mission means a lot to us at CGM, and we’re proud to help carry it forward on race weekend. With the Coast Guard Foundation as our 2026 Premier Nonprofit Partner, a dedicated section of both the Half Marathon and Marathon course give runners a place to take part in Run to Remember.

If you didn’t get a chance to experience that section at CGM — or you’d simply like another opportunity to take part — the Yorktown 3K & 5K is a wonderful way to join in.

The event is free, but spots are limited, so be sure to sign up.

The U.S. Coast Guard Men’s Rugby Team earned a historic 2nd-place finish at the 2026 Armed Forces Sports Men’s Rugby Championship — the first runner-up finish in team history! 🥈
