This morning our athletes competed at the Smith Cotton Invitational. Our kids got after it on a warm morning at an awesome facility in Sedalia. There were 23 high school teams represented today, as well as 18 middle school. The varsity was able to finish 4th as a team, while the JV finished 3rd & the middle school won the team championship!
Shout out to our high school athlete of the meet, Jr. Evan Cornett. Evan committed to putting in miles this summer and is seeing the impact on his times. Today he ran 20:37, an incredible 4 min & 34 seconds faster than his time here last season.
Our middle school athlete of the meet was Zayden Addis. The 7th grader finish 4th overall in the MS race, running a 13:51 (2 min, 46 seconds faster than his time a year ago)! Excited to see him continue to progress.
