Movementum Project

“A lifetime experience !

This cave, this line, and this vision have become one of the longest journeys of my climbing life.

A few years ago, Move already demanded a lot. At the time, imagining continuing above it and climbing all the way out of the cave felt almost unrealistic.

Today, the project goes 50/60 metres further, adding another 9a+ pitch after Move.

The biggest challenge isn’t just the physical difficulty—it’s managing the process. Some days I focus on the upper section to control it as much as I can, but then I fall in Move. Other days I focus into Move, but I loose a bit of confidence in the last part.

That’s the nature of a project like this.
Around 80 metres of sustained climbing, on a line stretching 120–130 metres from the ground to the anchor. A true mega line.

This project represents more than the climbing itself. It connects different periods of my life: the first ascent of Little Badder, then Move, and now this new vision.

Movementum feels like the right name for this project because it’s about movement, of course—but it’s also about momentum.

Trusting the flow that emerges from linking multiple movements together. In the end, how you connect them matters just as much as how you execute each one. Finding the right rhythm, carrying momentum from one move to the next—that’s what makes climbing feel efficient.

Sometimes we focus so much on the individual moves that we forget about the momentum between them.

That idea resonates beyond climbing, too. Life unfolds through its own cycles—and moving forward often means learning how to connect those different phases of life, rather than seeing them as separate chapters. Working on this route, I’ve found myself returning to ways of climbing and approaching things that I had developed before. Familiar patterns are resurfacing, bringing back energy and motivation. But this time, they’re shaped by everything I’ve learned along the way.

As for the grade… I first imagined a hard 9b+. But after trying quite much, it feels more and more like this line could be closer to 9c.

When I started climbing some years back, I would have never expected to be able to climb a route of this difficulty. Yesterday I found myself clipping the chains of this amazing route on a warm unlikely day, and It all just feels unreal.
