TX Grind is excited to welcome another great addition to our squad…Sophia Villarreal!!

Sophia is a Class of 2027 student-athlete at Parkland High School where she's been competing in Varsity since her Freshman Year. She also earned 2nd Team All-District 2-5A honors serving as an outfielder and utility player for the Matadors.

She has been playing softball since the age of 6 and competing in travel ball since she was 10.

Sophia is a hardworking, competitive and coachable player who is always willing to learn and put in the work to improve. Her versatility, determination, and team-first attitude make her a great addition to our program.

With her sights set on playing softball at the college level, we’re excited to help Sophia continue developing and competing at a high level.

TX Grind Softball had a busy summer season and we went 38-15-2 overall! 1 Championship, 1 Runner Up and a Final Four at The Goliath including great showings at all of our showcases in El Paso, Denver and Seguin...these ladies played well throughout the Summer and also made some connections with college coaches. Couldn't be prouder of them!!

Had our 2nd Senior Class with all 3 of them signing to continue their academic and softball careers at the next level! That makes it 8 for 8 the last two years!! Good luck to you ladies on your college careers, I'm sure you all will do great things!!

The squad is reloaded and ready for the Fall as we prepare for some great events focusing on college exposure!! Extremely excited to continue setting the standard and getting after it with this talented group! Expectations are always high but consistency is key! Leeesss goooo!!

TX Grind is excited to announce another new addition to our squad...Leah Estrada!! She is starting her 8th grade year at Canutillo Middle School.

Leah is a 13-year-old, Class of 2031 Middle Infielder/Utility player who brings an impressive amount of experience to the field. She has been playing softball for 9 years, including 5 years of travel ball with Texas Reign serving as her primary team.

Despite her young age, Leah has already spent the past two years competing at the 18U level, challenging herself against older competition and continuing to grow her game. Softball has taken her across the region to compete in places like Denver, Dallas, Phoenix, Tucson and Lubbock... giving her valuable experience against strong competition.

Beyond the field, Leah loves meeting new people, building friendships and most of all, competing at a high level. Her versatility, experience and willingness to challenge herself make her a great addition to our program.

TX Grind is grateful to announce another new addition to our squad...Isabella Moran!! She is starting her Sophomore year at Hanks High School.

Bella is an outfielder who brings talent, versatility, and a great attitude to the field. She has been recognized for earning the top GPA as well as the top batting average on her JV team last year. She was a great leadoff hitter for her team as she knows how to set the tone for the offense and make an impact from the very first at-bat.

Beyond her ability on the field, Bella is very coachable, a great teammate, and always willing to learn and improve. Her work ethic, team-first mentality, and commitment both in the classroom and on the softball field make her a great addition to our program.
