Fyn wants to play a little indoor soccer this winter at Mill Creek Arena Sports. We've put together a Boys 2006 (and 2007) indoor winter team. If you are interested, let me know & sign up. The season begins next weekend (Dec 3rd?).

A little soccer info for you. NWN Soccer and FC Alliance have merged and formed SURF FC. Also, the age brackets for Washington State Soccer has changed to a calender year (the year you were born / your age on Dec 31)...

Tryouts for Surf are in a couple weeks. Fyn has had a great time the last two years with NWN and looks forward to a bigger club.

We took 2nd place... and all had a fun time

WINNING!!!!

What an terrific performance by the boys today. You that were there know the amazing story that happened today and how our sons know how, and want to win. Everyone participated and after 110 minutes of soccer (we won the first game 6-7 in overtime), down 1-0 they rose to occasion tying it up with just 7 minutes left in the game. Sending the game into overtime. By the time the second overtime game began, we had been playing soccer for 125 minutes. This is 125 minutes of emotion, overtime win, day after Halloween, first game before 1pm all season, with just one substitute. Everyone participated and played an important role today. We played as a team with heart.

We beat the #1 seed, undefeated team in the league. Their record was 7-0-1, with a full roster and no morning game.

This is a game I will remember forever and everyone else will too.

The league championship game is scheduled for noon tomorrow at Sherwood field. I talked with the league director and they will have team introductions at 11:45am. I would like to see everyone present by 11:15am. We can warm up a bit and get ready to win again.

The Nationals is beginning a new tradition in featuring a game that highlights our college-bound players and showcases the Nationals playing soccer at the highest levels.

Each month the club will choose a home game that will feature a team in our oldest age groups. Let's show our Nationals Pride and rock the house at Meadowdale on September 21st!

Come join the Nationals in cheering on our teams in the game of the month! This month, we are featuring the B97 Red, who are coached by Aaron Libed. The boys had a hugely successful summer, becoming the U16 US Club Northwest Regional Champion last June as well as finalists in two other summer tournaments. Currently ranked 19th, The team will be taking on the Pac NW Maroon, who is coached by former Nationals coach Eugene Poublon. This is a pivotal Division 2 clash with important promotional implications. Please come to Meadowdale on the 21st to cheer on your Nationals!

Great game today! For three of the boys it was their first game. 0-0 at the half, then finishing the 3rd Q 2-0...

It was hot and we only had one sub... Well done!
