We have a growing list of organizations and community members who are ready and eager to participate in our next Violence Prevention training — but we need your help to make it happen.

We’re looking for individuals, businesses, or organizations willing to sponsor a class or contribute toward the cost of hosting one. Whether it's a one-time donation or a full class sponsorship, your support directly helps us reach those who need it most.

We’re now accepting donations through the Mid-Shore Community Foundation under the Violence Prevention Initiative Fund.

It makes me smile to see so many people show up today to work together on peaceful conflict resolution as a way of life instead of violence as a way to resolve conflict. Thank you to all of you who are being part of the solution instead of perpetuating the problem of violence in our society. I greatly appreciate you. 🙏

From de-escalation strategies to personal development and emotional intelligence, particpants dove into real conversations and practical tools for creating safer, stronger communities.

Do they still have you believing violence creates peace? There is a reason for the old adage, "Violence begets Violence "...the path to peace is not through physical violence but instead through intelligence, understanding and healthy communication. We are the only ones who can lead ourselves to a path of peace, those wanting more money and power will only create more conflicts, wars and violence.

We shared powerful insights, meaningful conversations, lots of laughs, and left with a few new friends too.

With over 300 participants now having completed the Violence Prevention Initiative, the momentum is building.
