Happy 14th birthday to DWD!!! 🥳
Every year I like to recognize and celebrate this day.
The day DWD first opened its doors for dancers to thrive!!🩰🪩
I feel truly blessed to be celebrating year 14 with the same passion, drive, enthusiasm and love as I did year 1! I remain incredibly grateful for all the people who have been a part of this journey with me. You have allowed me to share my creativity and joy with so many and in so many ways over the years. I can only hope to instill this same happiness with all those whose paths we cross.

For every beautiful performance you watch on stage, there is an incredible performance happening behind the curtain, in the wings backstage.
Watching the dancers give their pep talk, final stretch and stage nerves huddled together before the curtain opens.
Seeing the pure emotion of their peers in the wings.
Applause, smiles, tears and everything you DON’T see from the front, happens here.
There is so much more than just a well rehearsed dancer in the spot light.
There is the dancers and teachers behind them who help them get here. They feel the same feelings that flood their body with every emotion wrapped into one big beautiful moment.
What happens backstage is the most magical part of it all. Watching it come together, start with a hug and end with a hug and nothing but confidence and love in between 💚 This is performance magic ✨
