SATURDAY BIKE PRACTICES, every Saturday through & including 10/17/26. Use this link to access our website section on bike practice: https://gvkc.racing/motorcycle-practice-events/ If we have a really good day after Oct 17th & a lot of interest, we can open up. Will start up again in April. We go out of our way to repair surface cracks with professional track materials compatible with racing bikes. Any rain out days will be coordinated with our Bike Liaisons & posted on this site & Facebook at 7AM. Bikes are a major part of our community & growing!

This weekend's weather. Don't be fooled! Overall forecast says 40% rain either day. Remember 40% just means that day there's a 40% chance, but it doesn't specify when. Also your local weather often drastically different than at Avon. Looking at Avon hourly radar, Saturday nothing until 4:00 & even then low probability. Sunday showers possible 9:00 and 10:00 after night showers, but afterwards very low probability & easy to draw track. There won't be any rainout calls as long as these conditions remain the same.

Open Practice this Sunday 7/5

A sudden change in a special event schedule has opened up this Sunday for practice. Karts, Bikes & Vintage welcome. Don't let overall forecasts bother you. At Avon, Weather Channel App, 72 hr future radar forecast, the same used for possible rainouts, is showing a brief shower maybe around 10 but rest of day no rain. If track gets wet, we can greatly accelerate drying & get rid of any wet spots by our new shoulder pack super blower. If anything changes for the worst, I'll post as usual on Website, Facebook & mass email at 7AM Sunday. Come on down!
