The World Snowmobile Headquarters wishes everyone a safe Labor Day Weekend 2026. 🇺🇸 The museum is open on Friday & Sat, Sept. 4 & 5 - 10am to 4pm.
The Museum will be CLOSED on Sun, Sept. 6 & CLOSED on Mon. Sept. 7. Then open again on Tues, Sept. 8 - 10am to 4pm.

➡️Tommy Burr from Eagle River, Wisconsin visited the World Snowmobile Headquarters museum on Aug. 26, 2026. Thank you for loaning your 2000 Polaris 120 snowmobile to the World Snowmobile Headquarters for display. 🏁 Race driver Tommy Burr won the 2014 and 2016 World Championship in the 120 Stock class.

Thank you Snowmobile Hall of Fame

If you've been thinking about that last minute "get away" how about considering visiting the UP and Northwoods of Wisconsin? Snowmobilers should consider at least three memorable stops. In the UP stop in Naubinway, MI and visit the Top of the Lake Snowmobile Museum. Open daily from 9-5. Charlie and Marilyn are the hosts and wonderful folks!!

Then take Highway 2 west through the UP and when you get into Wisconsin take Highway 70 into Eagle River where you can stop and visit the World Snowmobile Headquarters. They have a tremendous display of snowmobiles. They are open Monday-Saturday 10-4. They are located immediately north of the World Championship Derby Complex. A legendary facility.

Continuing on Highway 70, a short 11 miles and you'll be in St. Germain, WI home of the Snowmobile Hall of Fame and Museum. There on display are many legendary racing and historical assortment of sleds. To plan accordingly, our facility is open on Thursday and Friday 10-5 and Saturday 10-3.

All the above is based on going East to West so obviously if you are
coming from the West you can just reverse the order. This vacation idea can be done is just a couple of days or longer if you visit any of the other wonderful sites in the UP or Northwoods of Wisconsin.

This milestone marks exactly 250 years since the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence in 1776. 🇺🇸 The World Snowmobile Headquarters museum wishes everyone a safe and Happy Independence Day weekend 2026. The museum will be closed on Saturday, July 4. 🔴⚪️🔵

🦅 Antique Snowmobile Club of America (ASCOA) 50th Anniversary museum tour on June 26, 2026 visiting the World Snowmobile Headquarters.

🦅 Welcome to Eagle River for the Antique Snowmobile Club of America (ASCOA) 50th Anniversary Celebration and safe travels to everyone traveling to the Northwoods.
The World Snowmobile Headquarters will be open regular hours on both Friday & Saturday, June 26 & 27 from 10am to 4pm. Plan to stop by the museum and take a tour down memory lane of trail machines as well as the World Championship Snowmobile Derby race history.
