From my experience, DLC Black Steel by JRZ are the best blades on the market right now. They finish so clean and sharp every time + they retain their edges so well due to that coating. Contact me if you’d like to get set up with your own set of top end steel!

I am glad you are here, and I know your skates will thank you as well!

From competitive ice hockey, to leisurely skating, the only point of contact that you have on the ice are the blades on your skates.
As such, it is absolutely critical that you have proper, clean and level edges on your skates to ensure that you have the grip wherever and whenever you need it.

As one of only a handful of people in Canada trained on the Maximum Edge sharpening system, I guarantee that your edges will be perfect when they leave my shop.

Well, it’s official. We are moving on Dec 22nd. I wanted to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has used my services over the past 12 months. I’ve made some fantastic friends and great memories over such a short time, and I will dearly miss this wonderful town, community and everyone in the area.

The sharpener will be running till the night of Dec 21 so feel free to pop in to either get your skates done or just say goodbye :)

I’m already looking forward to coming back up to visit. Thank you all again for everything,
