HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR #21 — ELLA “BEAN” 💜💛

Bean. Beanie We**ie. The Beanster. Whatever you call her, one thing is for sure — Virginia Valor is lucky to have her!

You can usually spot Bean pretty quickly with her backwards hat on, big smile, and ready to go and those slapping hands in your back pocket! It’s basically become her signature look!

But when Bean steps into that circle… she means BUSINESS. She is fierce, focused, and absolutely ruthless on the mound. From that signature Naja stomp, to the determination on her face, you can see just how much heart she pours into every single pitch. Her dedication to this team and this game is truly amazing to watch.

But Bean is so much more than an incredible pitcher.

From starting cheers, hyping up the girls, and filling the dugout with that infectious laugh. She celebrates her teammates, picks them up when they need it, and is always right there reminding them that she believes in them.

That’s what being a Virginia Valor teammate is all about.

We are so proud to have #21 representing Virginia Valor and even more proud of the teammate she continues to become.

Ella Molfesi and Emma Ward were dominant in the circle this past weekend! Together, this pitching duo recorded:

💜 #21 Ella Molfesi

Ella threw 9.1 innings, collecting an impressive 17 strikeouts while allowing only 3 hits and zero earned runs. She finished with a 0.00 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, and held opposing hitters to a .100 batting average. Ella also delivered a shutout performance against Surry Cyclones 14u.

💛 #16 Emma Ward

Emma pitched 5 strong innings, striking out 12 of the 24 batters she faced. She allowed only 2 hits, 1 earned run, and zero walks, finishing with a 1.40 ERA, an outstanding 0.40 WHIP, and a .095 opponent batting average.

Ella brought the power and swing-and-miss dominance, while Emma attacked the zone with outstanding command and efficiency. Two different pitching styles with one shared result: keeping opposing offenses quiet!

WHAT A WEEKEND! 🥎

What an incredible experience for VAV at the Top Gun Sports: Shipyard Tournament down in Charleston, SC🔥⚓️

The girls finished the weekend 3-1, making a strong run all the way to the semifinals! 💪

We may have come up short in that semifinal game, but LET ME TELL YOU… THAT GAME WAS FIRE! 🔥🔥🔥 These girls battled, competed, and left absolutely everything they had on that field. It was the kind of game that reminds you just how special this team is. 💜

Amazing competition, an unforgettable location, and so many memories made along the way. Charleston and Shipyard Park were definitely one for the books! ⚓️🌴

So proud of these girls and the way they continue to fight for each other and represent VALOR! 💜💛

3-1 on the weekend. Semifinalists. And still just getting started. 🔥

Valor put together an UNDEFEATED 3-0 pool play performance, earning the #2 seed out of 12 teams heading into bracket play! 🔥💪

You can usually count on a few things when Sarah shows up to the ballfield — a big smile, a kind attitude, softball hair ALWAYS on point 💁‍♀️🥎… and SPEED! 💨🔥

Sarah is one of those players who brings a sweet personality to the dugout but can turn on the wheels as soon as she hits the basepaths!

And this weekend, she put together a BIG one for Virginia Valor 31/32 – Lusk! 💪
