Last sail race:

A true sign that summer is coming to an end. This afternoon marked the final Duluth Yacht Club Weekly Wednesday sail race of the season. Passing through mid-race, the MV American Century made its departure with a load of iron ore, adding an extra vessel to the final race of summer.

🗓️ Welp. It’s about that time. With the final DYC race of the year here, we need to take our tent down for the season, and we need about a dozen folks to make it happen. Come down to the site on Monday, September 21 at 5:30 or as soon as you can get there. Rain date is Thursday, September 24.

Let’s get that shed project wrapped up! Our shed project manager Matt S (Matthew Semaan) will be leading a work day on Sunday, September 13 starting at 10:00. Stop by when you can. Bring 16 ft ladders, hammers, drill drivers, and electric hand saws if you have them.

The regular DYC Wednesday night social on 9/2/26 will be a fundraiser for Jack Lushbough, a local youth sailor battling chronic illness. Come on down to the 13th St S tent site after the race, or earlier if not racing. Food will be served. See Facebook event for more info.
